Enjoying a disorder?

Yea, as the title says. I enjoy having my disorder. Now you all probably think, "How can someone enjoy something that hinders them?". Well, it's simple. My specific mental disorder (That being Aspergers) actually has a positive side effect (depending on your level, I'm a neutral level). This side effect is an increase in intelligence! In fact, the disorder is sometimes called the "High Intelligence Disorder", but that's rarely used. Sure, Aspergers makes social groups a bit of a struggle. But the disorder can help at the same time! Your awkwardness and energetic personality will humor people (in a good way). Sure, some Aspergers don't take jokes well. But some others start laughing at how they fell for it or just start talking about it a lot. I love having my disorder because it gives me unique humor and gives me a boost in intelligence!

Now, you may wonder. Why bring this up? Well... Some people use their disorders as excuses for rude behavior. Giving those with autism a bad reputation. Making them seem "stupid" or rude. Funny. From what I've seen, those with mental disorders are usually more upbeat or energetic. Sure, they might be more sensitive. But still, usually optimistic. Anyway, that's all I really wanted to mention. There are groups in DA for people with these disorders, which I find nice.
